Welcome to our page,

               We are Chris and Andrea and we are excited at the opportunity to share our lives and ourselves with you. We believe that sharing our life and our love by becoming parents through adoption is truly a special privilege. We cannot begin to imagine how difficult taking this path might be for you and we can only hope that our letter might provide some encouragement and hope as you travel this way. We are committed to offering a child a loving and supportive home, and feel confident that we can do so because of our unconditional love for one another and our two year old daughter Ella.

     
              Our lives together began 12 years ago and having a family was always in our hearts. After four years of trying to conceive, part of which included infertility treatments with no success, we began our first adoption journey. We were truly blessed by having Ella join our family as she has brought joy and harmony into our home. She is a sweet, loving, and caring daughter and we cannot wait for her to be a big sister.
 

              Through this page we hope you see our passion and love for each other, our desire to instill values and education in our children, and the strength we gather from our family and friends. We have great relationships with our families and they are excited about our plans to grow our family.

Family Sketch

           We are Chris and Andrea, and we’ve been happily married for 7 years. Although we’re both native New Mexican’s, we were married in November 2002 on the island of Maui, Hawai’i. It was one of the most memorable times of our lives, but what made it even more special was the fact that over 30 family members and friends were able to go along. To this day we are always surrounded by friends and family either at home, on vacation, or during the holidays.

           Andrea is a Kindergarten Teacher and a High School Volleyball Coach. She has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of New Mexico and is also a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. She loves to travel, golf, read, and watch movies. “Of all that I’ve accomplished my greatest joy is being a Mom.”

           Chris is a Senior Manager at a Financial Institution and has a Bachelors Degree from the University of New Mexico and is currently working towards a Masters in Business Administration. Some of Chris’ favorite hobbies include cooking, golfing, and attending anything sports related. 

              Ella is two years old and loves to play, draw, swim, snuggle, and be read to. She is truly the joy of our lives! Ella is a loving cousin and friend and will make a great big sister. We were blessed to have Ella become part of our family. In early August 2007 we received the phone call that would change our lives and from the first moment we saw Ella we knew that it was meant to be.

             Although we’re blessed to be a family of three our dream was always to have a large family. Between the two of us we have 5 sisters so we know what it means to have siblings to grow up with and to share experiences with. This is something we would like to provide to Ella as well as another child.
