Dear Birthmother,

Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to share our family with you. We have been on a long journey that has brought us to you and we are so excited about what the future will hold for all of us.

Our journey began 14 years ago. We started with classic hopes and dreams of children and growing old together. As we got started we both had jobs and put each other through school. After 2 years of marriage we knew we were ready to add another chapter and bring a little one into the world to love and protect. We were blessed with the most precious healthy boy, Carson. He has changed our lives forever.


After Carson turned 1 we decided to bring another bundle of joy into the world. We thought it would be neat to have them close to the same age so they could become best friends and be there for each other everyday. However, unknown to us at the time, that was not the exact plan in store for us. Yes, our destiny was going to have a much greater impact on our lives. After having 5 miscarriages, we began to think a little deeper into what God and the universe were trying to tell us. Once we became more in tuned to where our path was headed, we saw subtle hints. The more open our eyes and hearts became open the more we knew what our next move would be. We had to find the little one out there that needed us as much as we needed them to complete our family. So our path gratefully leads to you.

We have not walked this path alone. We both have loving parents, sisters and brothers who support us every step of the way. They too are very excited about bringing a new addition to the family. Our friends have also lessened our weight of worries and disappointments and helped us see the sunshine everyday. We are extremely blessed with great family and friends.

Our goals and beliefs are simple. Our goal is to have our children grow in a safe, fun loving home. We will instill in them the importance of a balanced life to include compassion for others, self worth and confidence, honestly, manners and education. Our belief is children need structure and security. We will provide structure with an open mind and security through love, understanding and financial stability.

This journey to find you has been long but well worth the wait. It has made us think and love deeper and not to take anything for granted. It has opened our eyes and hearts to possibilities we might not ever have dreamt. It has made our family stronger and our compassion greater. It has prepared us for you and your story of the greatest love ever.
