Detailed Description of Cuddle Care Services
"Cuddle Care" is the care provided by a licensed foster family who works exclusively with our agency to provide a loving home and family for a baby, child, or children in need of a safe and nurturing home until a permanent family can be found.
Sometimes a birthmom or birthparents aren't quite sure if they want to make an adoption plan or not, and the baby comes before they have made their final decision. Perhaps the birthmother did not know she was pregnant until late in the pregnancy, or maybe circumstances have recently changed, which are impacting the decision. Rather than taking the baby home they might choose to put their baby in Cuddle Care while they take the time to thoughtfully consider their options in a neutral environment.
Anytime a baby or child needs a home and is awaiting an adoptive family, the Cuddle Care family steps in to provide the care and the comforts of home and family until a permanent placement can be made. Any child whose circumstances are unique might require some extra time and effort to find just the right forever family. Perhaps there is a sibling group with older children, or a child with other special needs, where a family who is particularly prepared and able to accept these challenges must be found. While the caseworker is diligently searching for a family who will best meet the child's needs, all can rest assured that the child is thriving in an environment where his or her best interest is always the first consideration.
